The Rhythm of Life – 21 Questions that will Change Your Life – Question #11: Will Your Life Be Different?

“Welcome back to 21 questions that will change your life.

Question #11 is about envisioning your future. Sometimes we can get so caught up in the present and past that we forget to glance down the path and see where we are going.

Question #11 is… How do you want your life to be different one year from now? Imagine your life a year from now. If you stay on the path you are on, do you like where it will lead you to a year from now? What would you like to change about your life over the next 12 months? Think about the different aspects of life: physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, material, financial, professional, adventure, legacy. Which of these areas do you want to focus on at this stage of your life?

Today’s question is… How do you want your life to be different one year from now?”

The Unhappiest People

“Life is difficult. It is those who imagine that life is easy or should be easy who end up the unhappiest. It is the friction of life, the challenges of life, the ebb and flow of the unexpected, that all work together to help us fulfill our essential purpose and destiny.

Along the way, there are many barriers and obstacles to be overcome: disappointment, failure, loss, fear, addiction, discouragement, fatigue, anger, hatred, laziness, and the struggle between good and evil.

Everything in our lives should be seen in relation to our quest to become the-best-version-of-ourselves and embraced or rejected accordingly. It may seem simple. It may seem oversimplified. Genius is the ability to capture complexity with a simple vision. Simplicity is the key to perfection. Embrace this simple vision and it will help you unveil your genius.

Embrace what will help you become the-best-version-of-ourselves, reject what won’t. It isn’t more complicated than that.”

Daily Message from Pope Francis – Pray for Everything and Everyone

Saturday, February 20, 2021

“Let us always pray for everything and for everyone, even for our enemies… Let us pray for our dear ones, but also for those we do not know… Let us pray above all for unhappy people, for those who weep in solitude and give up hope that there might still be someone who loves them…The Lord is — let us not forget — the Lord of compassion, of nearness, of tenderness: three words never to be forgotten. Because this is the Lord’s style: compassion, nearness, tenderness.”Pope Francis
